Stole this article from Jeannie this lovely Tuesday morning 🙂
For a long time I focused on the idea of “I think therefore I am” when it comes to the idea of self, reality, and meaning of life. But most recently I have come to value my connection with the world as a significant part of who I am. For I can’t even fathom a world where only I exist; who I am is a really a culmination of my interactions with everyone and everything I’ve come across.
One of my goals this year is to deepen my relationships with people, and perhaps that goal should be extended to encompass all other encounters as well. To not only experience in passing, but to truly appreciate each moment and know that for better or worse, my old self is constantly being replaced by a newer version, however minute the change may be.
“For we are more deeply alive and in profound contact with all of the entities that we encounter when such a state is achieved, which means that we participate more fully in this universal process of manifestation.”
