I love places that look like they were forgotten by time. Or, perhaps they just didn’t care to keep up with the passage of time. Cartagena sure was one of those places, where every corner you turn, you might find one such alley, or door, or window. I often stopped by one such relic and imagined that if I pushed it open, it might be a portal into a past world, like the magical ones that came alive under Gabo’s pen.
